My 4th blog post ever, during my first week of blogging, was a St. Patrick’s day dinner post. There were a few problems with this post, (the poor quality picture being among them) but the biggest “oops” was that I didn’t post it until 8:37 p.m. on March 16th.
While it was fun for me, it wasn’t really enough time for my readers (all 5 of them) to benefit from the post (okay, it isn’t hard to dye pasta green – I was a poor college kid and it fit the budget- but you get the point).

Bonus: start thinking of a blog post for April Fools Day.
Whether you post ideas for April Fools to help inspire your readers or you pull an April Fools joke on your readers – April Fools makes for a fun post or two.
Ashley from Make-It and Love-It always does an April Fools on her readers. The first year I saw it, she really fooled me. The second year I was startled for a minute. After that, I eagerly waited for her April Fools post!
Good luck blogging, hopefully you’ve come up with some good ideas!
